The Tinka Tong Alto is almost twice the size of the Tinka Tong Piccolo and yet is one of the smallest slotted drums on the market. In sound and manageability, however, it is already a full-grown slit drum. With its 6 tones it can still be played with one hand. An opening at the bottom allows a good grip. It sounds full and strong, but can also be played softly and quietly.
The small slit drums speak the language of wood, trees and forests. They convince by their handiness, lightness and clarity. With the Tinka Tongs we have given the slit drums playfulness, lightness and mobility. You can discover a whole range of different playing techniques with the Tinka Tongs. With a little practice, all Tinka Tongs can also be played with the fingers.
