Template and 5 single bridges for MO-34

This set of 5 single bridges with a pentatonic template is intended for tuning the melody strings of the Monolina, like the koto. With the help of the template, the single bridges can be easily positioned in the right place to tune in a pentatonic sequence of notes.

On one side of the template the player finds the major and on the other side the minor pentatonic.

Procedure:

• Fold over
• Slide under the strings and then up to peg bar
• Place the single bridges in the appropriate places (arrows)
• Select the tuning of the Monochord in the column
• Tune the strings to the tones indicated in this column

The single bridges can also be moved freely and give the experienced player the possibility to tune any tone sequence of his own choice.
