The Monolina monochord: our top seller

meditative - melodic - rhythmic & much more than a monochord

The 34-string Monolina monochord has the same base as the Monolini monochord with the 5 basic tunings D, F, G, A and C, but is much more versatile. Five riders can be positioned under the top strings using a template. This allows you to build in the melodic koto range. It is used to add melodious tones to the sparkling, meditative, deepening sound of the Monolina monochord from time to time, which the brain can then use to continue its own melodies. This expands your sound tapestry with a pentatonic major or minor melody that you create intuitively and will always sound harmonious.

The curved underside of the monochord fits perfectly on many parts of the body such as the back, feet, chest or stomach and has a relaxing and calming effect with its long, rich sounds and vibrations. When played repeatedly, the notes of the monochord create a spherical, overtone-rich soundscape that can take you and others far away from everyday consciousness.

Areas of application for monochords

A monochord is a useful addition to any sound meditation or sound massage. This stringed instrument harmonizes with other natural sound instruments such as singing bowls, wind chimes, wooden slit drums or hang drums. The monochord is widely used in sound therapy as it can be used as a body monochord and the long-lasting vibrations are perceived as very calming. Whether you want to immerse yourself in meditation, accompany your voice in intuitive singing or offer sound healing in various areas.
