With the extension, the small u-stands RS-28GM can be raised. This allows our monochords to be played comfortably while sitting on a chair.

Extension at a glance

• The extension set consists of 5 parts and the following screws:
  • 4 legs (2 of which have a hole for the crossbar)
  • 4 small M6 screws for the u-stand
  • 2 long M6 screws for the crossbar
  • 1 M6 Allen key
  • 1 crossbar in three different versions:
    • Version 1: Crossbar width 69 cm, for Monolini, Monolina
    • Version 2: Crossbar width 83 cm, for Monolina XL
    • Version 3: Crossbar width 127.5 cm, for large monochords

• Wood: birch (Betulaceae)
• Height assembled: 65 cm

• Biologically treated with hard wax oil

Flexible and transportable

With the extension, our u-stands not only fit our Monolini and Monolina, but also the Monolina XL and the new large Monochords. This is made possible by the 3 crossbars of different lengths. The extension is therefore available in 3 different versions, each in a set with the matching crossbar.

Together with the small u-stands, you get a charming, dismountable version of the high u-stand: all parts fit together with the monochord in the corresponding bag. When travelling, the monochord player is flexible and can play the monochord sitting on a meditation cushion or on a chair.
